ABOUT ME

 

I am a Spanish native speaker with an excellent command of the English language. I have over five years of experience in language tutoring in Spanish and English as a second language as well as Portuguese, teaching all ages from 8 years of age to university students, business people, travellers and professionals.

 

My students enjoy learning Spanish and opening up new worlds even if it is just for an upcoming test, upcoming trip or to improve on the Spanish language base on what they already know. I can tailor a lesson plan that will prepare them for their future plans.

 

My years of experience gave me an excellent knowledge of education principles and techniques which make my classes very interactive.

 

I have also various years of experience in freelance translations, proofreading, consecutive interpretation, transcription and editing as well as data analysis.

 

I have a University degree in Spanish as well as a Certificate in Translation English-Spanish/ Spanish-English from York University. I also have a diploma in TESOL/TEFL Master course and a diploma in International Travel and Tourism.

 

I am a member of the Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers (CASLT/ACPLS)
